Why study Physical Education?

If you are interested in the world of sports and health and fitness, this is the course for you. Studying Physical Education at A Level gives students the chance to progress into many further education routes, but will also open up lots of career paths including physiotherapy, personal training, sports science, dietician and athlete to name a few. By the end of the course, students will be able to analyse the body and understand why some people can run faster than others, understand why personality affects performance, how technology can help in sports and many more.

You will learn about why people perform better than others both mentally and physically, and even delve in to ethical considerations behind the use of drugs in sport.
