Welfare and Support LILA Liverpool

Welfare and Support

The welfare of our students is extremely important to us. We know that a student needs to feel safe, happy and comfortable in order to 'Love to Learn'. We also recognise that the welfare needs of students are different according to their ages so we offer different levels of support to reflect this.

Juniors (12 - 17 years)

  • All junior students receive a junior welcome pack, safety plans and ID cards
  • Juniors have access to a dedicated safeguarding telephone number 24 hours a day if they feel unsafe, worried or need help.
  • LILA has a dedicated team of Listening adults and Safeguarding staff who will make themselves known to junior students in the event they need help or support.

  • All of LILA*'s accommodation providers are vetted and approved to accommodate junior students.

Young Adults (16-18 years)

  • Young adults have access to an emergency telephone number 24 hours a day if they feel unsafe, worried or need help.
  • Listening adults are available for young adults who feel worried about something or need help.
