Welfare and Support LILA Liverpool

Welfare and Support

The welfare of our students is extremely important to us. We know that a student needs to feel safe, happy and comfortable in order to 'Love to Learn'. We also recognise that the welfare needs of students are different according to their ages so we offer different levels of support to reflect this.

Juniors (12 - 17 years)

  • All junior students receive a junior welcome pack, safety plans and ID cards
  • Students can speak to LILA*'s nominated in-house Designated Safeguarding Lead anytime, all year round (24 emergency access)
  • An in-house Welfare Officer and a Junior Centre Manager is available to help with any questions or concerns juniors may have
  • All of LILA*'s accommodation providers are vetted and approved to accommodate junior students

Young Adults (16-18 years)

  • Listening adults are available specifically for young adults (DSL and Welfare Officer)
  • LILA*'s Welfare Officer is available during office hours 8.30am - 4.30pm to offer support or to chat
