Out of Season Mini Stays FAQ

What is a mini stay?

At LILA* we offer basic and intensive mini stays which are bespoke packages created for your group. They can include a customised English course and accommodation as well as a high quality social programme. 

When can I book a mini stay?

Our mini stays are available to start on any Monday during January – June and September – December 2016, depending on availability.

What is included in a mini stay?

Our typical mini stays include English tuition every morning Monday to Friday, accommodation, typically all meals will be included, afternoon and evening activities, weekly bus pass and one free group leader place for every 15 students. However our mini stays are completely bespoke packages and can be adapted to suit your group’s needs.

How much does it cost?

Our prices are based on 15 students (Juniors aged 12-17 will be in one closed group at the same level, for Adults aged 18+ they will join adult classes at different levels) and are shown below:

Basic Mini Stay

£315 NET fees per person per week

Intensive Mini Stay

£365 NET fees per person per week

There may also be extra charges for airport transfers, some afternoon or evening activities and additional nights in accommodation.

What is the difference between Basic and Intensive Mini Stays?

Basic Mini Stay is 15 hours tuition per week, 2 afternoon activities and 1 evening activities.

Intensive Mini Stay is 15 hours tuition per week, 5 afternoon activities and 2 evening activities.          

We can also provide additional tuition or activities if you would prefer. Our mini stays are completely adaptable to suit your group’s requests.

What activities are included in the social programme?

Our mini stays social programme can include activities such as Liverpool sightseeing including city centre, The Beatles Story, Maritime museum, Croxteth Park, Albert Dock, Sefton Park, World museum, Liverpool Football Club and Formby Beach. We can also offer creative and social activities such as bowling, mini golf, graffiti workshop, street dance workshop, art competition, disco night and cinema trips. We can also arrange weekend day trips to other places in the UK such as the Lake District, Conwy Castle and Llandudno. If there are any activities your group would be interested in doing during their stay, we can try and arrange them as part of your bespoke package.
