LILA General English + University Preparation

Our General English and University Preparation course is a 21 hour per week, intensive full time course.

It is a combination of General English and University Preparation. General English will aim to give you the confidence in communicating in an English speaking environment and you’ll focus on the skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing whilst covering essential grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, phrases, and formal and informal language. The University Preparation part of the course is for anybody who wants to improve their study skills. Based around the four basic skills – Reading, listening, writing and speaking – the course will focus on specific areas of study such as giving presentations, critical thinking, developing an argument and dealing with difficult language.
