Pre-sessional

The aim of this course is to provide students with the necessary skills required to gain access to and cope with academic life within a UK university. The course consists of General English, IELTS preparation and Academic skills development. Each part of the course is assessed internally by means of exams, presentations and coursework.

| General Information | The course is divided into two 6-week parts. Part 1 must be completed by students who have an IELTS score 1 pt below what is required by UK universities. Generally this will mean having an IELTS score of 4 - 5. Part 2 will be for those who wish to boost their score by half an IELTS point |
