LILA* is situated in the heart of the city, on the doorstep of Liverpool One. Our brand new school offers our LILA* students:

Vibrant Common Room

When you’re relaxing between classes why not head over to the common room? It’s a place for you to chat with your friends, check your emails and get a quick bite to eat from our vending machine. Check what’s the latest on the social blackboard and leave messages for your friends.

IT Suite

LILA* students like to study hard as well as play hard. So we’ve made sure that students have access to a self study IT Suite. Rather than checking you emails and catching up on the news from home, the IT Suite is to encourage students to work outside the classroom.

Book Swap Library

There is nothing quite like reading to improve your knowledge of a language. Want to settle down with a bit of Harry Potter or a real piece of classic English literature? On our second floor you’ll find our book swap library which is there for our students to pick up new books and drop off the old. Find it on the second floor!

Lending Library

Unlike the LILA* book swap library, the lending library is for you to borrow books or DVDs for a short time; they must be returned before you leave us. This collection includes guided readers and dvds and can be found in the academic office.

Quiet Reading Area

Want a little peace and quiet? Our quiet reading area is part of the Book Swap Library and is a great place to get some quiet studying done.

Wireless Internet

There is free wireless internet access throughout the school.

Artwork

You won’t be able to help but notice the amazing photography and art work which is scattered throughout the school; it’s like studying in a gallery! Take a stroll through the school and see the best of what Liverpool has to offer and see how the city looked in times gone by.

Prayer Room

LILA* has a small prayer room on the second floor which is available to all students. LILA* attracts students from around the world so please respect all forms of worship and be quiet whilst others are praying.
