International Academic Year

The 36 week Academic Year course consists of 15 hours a week of General English and 6 hours a week of Academic English. The course is designed for those who use English in the workplace and/or those who wish to study in the UK. The academic part of the course is concerned with skills such as writing reports, giving presentations, listening to lectures and attending meetings, and adopts a similar communicative, task-based approach to the General English course but with a focus on the type of English expected in colleges, universities and the international workplace.
